AR-15 (Mil-Spec) Magwell – Glory Hole

You don’t need this magwell. The standard magazine well is more than sufficient for fast and efficient magazine changes. It is also smaller and does not interfere with weapon manipulation.

However, this magwell can be useful if you feel that you are losing valuable fractions of a second trying to hit the magazine well with the magazine, or if you have a feeling that you could significantly speed up this part of the reload procedure if the magazine well were larger. In that case, the Glory Hole will noticeably speed up the reload process. The enlarged magazine well is also useful in low-visibility conditions or when fatigue starts to set in — it’s simply easier to hit a larger opening.

And last but not least, it looks fucking awesome.

Glory Hole is made from high-quality nylon using Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology. This modern industrial 3D-printing process provides strength and finish quality comparable to traditional injection molding. This is not a magwell made on a home 3D printer — MJF technology provides excellent durability and wear resistance.

IMPORTANT!

We designed the Glory Hole to fit Mil-Spec lower receivers. However, the sheer number of manufacturers means that there are minor dimensional differences between them, which can affect the fit of the magwell.

We tested the magwell with the following magazines: Magpul PMAG M2, Magpul PMAG M3, as well as aluminum and steel "STANAG" magazines.

NOTE! Even with lower receivers that are compatible with the magwell, minor fitting may be required. This is due to the manufacturing process used for Mil-Spec receivers (CNC-machined forgings), which does not provide extremely tight dimensional tolerances or perfect repeatability.
