The sling market is already so saturated that it is hard to believe another one is needed. Nevertheless, we struggled to find a solution that met our expectations, so we developed our own approach to this common piece of equipment.

The Maverick Carbine Sling (MCS 2.0) is a two-point rifle sling developed from years of DTF instructors' experience with various long-gun sling systems. It is an evolution of the original DTF MCS.

The overall length of the sling can be easily adjusted using a loop positioned within reach of the support hand. This allows you to quickly adapt the sling length to the situation and your needs. The adjustment system uses no mechanical metal locking hardware, resulting in low weight and reliable operation.

The Maverick Carbine Sling features a padded section that improves comfort when carrying a rifle for extended periods. Because why shouldn't it be comfortable? We spent a surprisingly long time selecting the right foam, one that would retain its properties over time while providing the right balance of firmness and softness. Think of it as a cuddly teddy bear, but one raised in a rough neighborhood.

• Thoughtful construction: The combination of materials gives the MCS 2.0 the right amount of stiffness while reducing tangling.

• Simple design: The minimal number of buckles reduces snagging and catching when carrying other equipment or wearing loose clothing.

• Easy adjustment: The adjustment loop is easily accessible and provides smooth length adjustment. The system uses no metal buckles and is resistant to dirt.

• Modularity: The open-end design allows the shooter to choose their preferred mounting hardware.

• Single-point configuration: The MCS 2.0 can be converted into a single-point sling by using a Clash Hook carabiner on the front end of the sling.

• Durable: Made from high-quality materials and hardware, including ITW Nexus buckles and MIL-SPEC A-A-55301 webbing.

The MCS features open ends, meaning you need to select your preferred mounting hardware for attaching the sling to the rifle. Mounting hardware is sold separately.

Our most common preferences are:

• REAR: QD – allows you to switch between the stock and the rear end plate, provided the rifle is equipped with the appropriate attachment points.

• FRONT: QD or Clash Hook carabiner.

• Quietest configuration: Paracord.
