VORTEX Venom Red Dot Mounting Plate for MOS

2BME004 Mounting Plate is designed for mounting the following red dot sight models on Glock MOS pistols (excluding Slim MOS):

• All models based on the Docter footprint, including:

  • Vortex Venom (does not apply to the new model based on the DPP footprint)

  • Vortex Viper

  • Delta MINIDOT 3

From the initial design stage through to final production, the product was developed and manufactured by a Polish company using state-of-the-art DMG Mori CNC machining centers. All mounting plates are made from aerospace-grade aluminum, allowing us to create a product that is both exceptionally durable and extremely lightweight — weighing approximately 8 g, which is only a fraction of the weight of steel plates available on the market.

Additional mass moving together with the pistol slide can have a negative impact on the firearm’s operating cycle and, in extreme cases, may even lead to various malfunctions.

The plate features a system of steel, threaded, replaceable “Quad Lock” inserts, allowing us to use a strong, multi-thread engagement in a lightweight aluminum plate. This solution also enabled us to achieve another key objective: mounting the red dot sight as low as possible.

The entire plate is finished with a military-standard hard anodized (MIL-SPEC) coating, increasing resistance to scratches and wear. The anodized coating also protects the plate from the effects of the acidic environment produced by firearm propellant residue.

The use of precision measuring probes ensures that each plate is seated in the mounting pocket with the appropriate fit. Every plate is manufactured to the highest precision standards, providing the highest possible level of reliability.

The kit includes high-strength stainless-steel Torx mounting screws, threadlocker, and installation instructions.

IMPORTANT:

• Make sure that all screws are properly installed and tightened to the specified torque according to the installation instructions. If you do not have the necessary experience, we recommend having the installation performed by a qualified gunsmith.

• Due to differences in the height of red dot sight housings between manufacturers, please select the appropriate screw length according to the included installation instructions.
