Replacing the rear sight on a Glock without a vise is possible, but we definitely don't recommend it. A dedicated tool allows you to do the job precisely and without damaging the sights themselves – which you may soon want to put up for sale once you realize that the only proper sights are DTF Analog Sights (wink, wink).

Important – unless you're a home gunsmith, you'll probably only replace sights occasionally, so buying a dedicated tool may not seem worthwhile. In that case, consider pooling your money with your friends at the range so that at least one person in your group has one of these tools.
