One of our favorite open reflex pistol sights from Holosun — featuring a very crisp and clear reticle, a durable construction, and, equally importantly, a beautifully designed housing.

The Holosun HE508T-X2-RD is an open reflex pistol sight that combines advanced electronics with exceptional durability thanks to its titanium housing. Minimized parallax enables fast, intuitive target acquisition, significantly reducing the time required to get on target during dynamic shooting.

Reliable Power Supply and Shake Awake Technology

The optic features a dual power system using Solar Failsafe technology. The integrated solar cell supports the CR1632 battery, and under strong ambient light it can power the sight without drawing energy from the battery. This reduces the need for frequent battery replacement.

Power consumption is further reduced by Shake Awake technology. The system puts the LED into sleep mode when the sight is inactive and automatically wakes it upon detecting movement, restoring the last-used operating mode. This eliminates the need to manually switch the optic on and off during training. Battery life can reach up to 50,000 hours.

MRS – Three Reticle Options for Different Distances

The HE508T-X2-RD features three reticle configurations through its Multi-Reticle System (MRS). Without the need to re-zero the optic, the user can select between:

• 2 MOA dot

• 32 MOA circle

• 2 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle

The combined dot-and-circle reticle is particularly suited to fast target acquisition during dynamic shooting.

The 650 nm red reticle illumination can be adjusted across 12 brightness settings. Eight settings are intended for daylight use, while four additional settings are compatible with night vision devices.

Exceptional Durability with a Titanium Housing

The use of titanium for the optic housing provides exceptional durability. Titanium offers high hardness and resistance to mechanical damage while keeping the overall weight low.

The construction has been tested for resistance to vibrations and impacts of up to 5000 G, allowing reliable operation on pistol slides with significant recoil. The sight is also IP67-rated, improving reliability in demanding weather conditions.
