Holosun ARO CORE Enclosed Red Dot Sight – 2 MOA – Black

The Holosun ARO series red dot sights made a very positive impression on us. They are simple, robust optics with a crisp reticle and a clean, well-designed housing. The CORE version is stripped of unnecessary features — no solar panel, no automatic brightness adjustment, and no selectable reticles. Just a simple, reliable 2 MOA dot.

The Holosun ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic) CORE is an enclosed red dot sight featuring a 2 MOA dot reticle. It enables fast target acquisition, even in adverse weather conditions, thanks to its housing rated IP67. The sight comes with a 1/3 Co-Witness mount with a height of 1.63".

The optic features an advanced lens system with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, providing high light transmission while maintaining a clear sight picture without parallax. Reticle brightness can be adjusted across 12 settings, including 10 daylight settings and 2 night-vision-compatible settings.

Windage and elevation can be adjusted within a range of ±50 MOA, with 1/2 MOA per click.

The electronic LED system is powered by a CR2032 battery, which can be replaced through the side-loading battery tray without removing the optic from its mount. The integrated Shake Awake technology puts the sight into sleep mode after a predefined period of inactivity, helping to extend battery life.

The sight housing is machined from a single piece of aluminum and can withstand shock forces of up to 1000 G. The optic also features a Micro Arc Oxidation (MAO) finish, creating a durable protective surface coating. Brightness is adjusted using controls located on the top of the housing.

The ARO series, including the CORE model, is based on experience gained from Holosun's popular 403 and 503 series.

IMPORTANT: The ARO shares the footprint of the popular Aimpoint Micro/T1. However, due to differences in the housing design, its optical axis sits slightly higher than the height specified by manufacturers of mounts other than the factory mount. For example, a 1.93" mount will position the optical axis of the ARO at approximately 2.00".
