DTF Protection Side Protection for FLEX Plate Carrier

FLEX Side Armor is designed for users who want to expand their plate carrier configuration with additional ballistic protection for the sides, providing protection against fragmentation and handgun ammunition.

The FLEX Side Armor panels are extremely lightweight and flexible and can be adapted to virtually any cummerbund, providing certified protection against fragments and handgun projectiles. The inner side of the panels is made from Outlast® fabric, which provides thermoregulating properties and improves comfort during prolonged use.

The panels are designed to overlap the protective area of the ballistic plates, providing practical additional ballistic protection.

Features:

• Universal mounting system compatible with any MOLLE/PALS-equipped cummerbund.

• Available in 2 sizes to provide optimal overlap of soft and hard armor protection.

• Protection against 9 mm projectiles at 436 m/s, in accordance with NIJ IIIA 0101.04.

• Protection against FSP 1.1 gr fragments – V50 > 500 m/s, in accordance with STANAG 2920 Ed. 2 with amendment.

• Inner side made from Outlast® thermoregulating fabric.

• Lightweight and comfortable.

Sizes:

The size should be selected according to the length of the vest's cummerbund, taking into account that the side protection should overlap the ballistic plate by approximately 3–5 cm to provide comprehensive coverage.
