Protection Level

The IMPACT 2 bulletproof vest provides protection against the following threats:

• 9 mm Lead-Core Bullets: One of the most commonly used types of handgun ammunition worldwide.

• Fragments Generated by Explosions: Powerful explosions can produce high-velocity fragments which, alongside the blast wave, pose one of the greatest threats to human health and life.

• Combat Knives or Large Kitchen Knives: According to police statistics, the risk of injury from a sharp-edged weapon is statistically one of the most serious threats in Poland.

• Protective insert weight (size L): 1.75 kg (+/- 5%)

• Areal density of protective inserts: 5.7 kg/m² (all sizes)

Areal density of the protective inserts is defined as the ratio of the total weight of the complete set of protective inserts (front + back) to the total protective area of the set for a given vest size, expressed in kg/m².

IMPORTANT!

To ensure the highest possible quality of our products, each ballistic insert is hermetically sealed. This guarantees that it remains in its original factory condition and protects it from external factors such as moisture.

The insert is packaged in a way that allows it to be placed into the cover while still inside its protective packaging, so you can verify that you have selected the correct size.

Unsealed inserts cannot be returned. Make sure you have selected the correct size before opening the protective packaging.

Legal Information

The IMPACT 2 vest is designed and manufactured exclusively for civilian use. This is supported by legal opinions based on information provided by the Permits and Concessions Department of the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration, as well as an expert opinion issued by the Military Institute of Armament Technology. The IMPACT 2 vest complies with the requirements of category 1A005.a of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 20, 2021, establishing a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit, and transfer of dual-use items.

The IMPACT 2 vest is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) providing protection against gunshot wounds or knife stabs, as specified under Category III of EU Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment (PPE). A conformity assessment procedure has been carried out for the IMPACT 2 by a notified body, as confirmed by the CE marking.
