Acheron HexaLug Muzzle Device – Muzzle Brake 7.62 mm – 5/8x24 UNEF

An effective muzzle brake with an integrated HexaLug interface.

It is compatible with all suppressors equipped with our HexaLug quick-attach system. Thanks to the unidirectional compatibility of the HexaLug system, it is also possible to mount a larger-caliber suppressor. This allows a 7.62 mm suppressor to be installed on a 5.56 mm muzzle brake.

For rifles used primarily or exclusively with a suppressor, we recommend using a muzzle brake instead of a flash hider. The muzzle brake ports redirect high-pressure gases sideways, thereby extending suppressor service life.

Please note that when the rifle is used without a suppressor, the muzzle blast is significantly more intense and affects people standing next to the shooter.

Thread Guide:

• 5/8″–24 UNEF – Standard thread size on almost all American 7.62 mm rifles.

• M14 x 1 – Fits all Czech vz.58 variants; occasionally found on hunting rifles. Not compatible with AK-47/AKM.

• M14 x 1L – Fits all AK-47/AKM variants, except newer models with an M24 x 1.5 thread (AK-103, AK-104, etc.).

• M15 x 1 – Fits the Haenel CR300 and CR308, as well as many other rifles. Not compatible with the HK MR308 or HK firearms with delayed-blowback systems (G3, etc.).

• M15 x 1 HK – Specifically designed to cover the cylindrical section between the muzzle thread and the shoulder on the HK MR308. Do not use with Haenel rifles.
