Acheron HexaLug Muzzle Device – Flash Hider 7.62 mm – 1/2x28 UNEF

Flash hider with a HexaLug interface for Acheron suppressors.

Asymmetrical weight-reducing cuts eliminate the “tuning fork” effect and, consequently, the characteristic whistling sound typical of open muzzle devices.

Compatible with all suppressors equipped with the HexaLug quick-attach system. Thanks to the unidirectional compatibility of HexaLug, it is possible to mount a larger-caliber suppressor—for example, a 7.62 mm suppressor on a 5.56 mm muzzle device.

We recommend using a flash hider on all rifles that will be used without a suppressor and where visible muzzle flash or excessive lateral blast is undesirable.

For rifles used primarily or exclusively with a suppressor, a muzzle brake may be a better choice. The brake ports direct high-pressure gases sideways, which helps extend suppressor service life.

Thread Guide:

• 5/8″–24 UNEF – Standard thread size on almost all American 7.62 mm rifles.

• M14 x 1 – Fits all Czech vz.58 variants; occasionally found on hunting rifles. Not compatible with AK-47/AKM.

• M14 x 1L – Fits all AK-47/AKM variants, except newer models with an M24 x 1.5 thread (AK-103, AK-104, etc.).

• M15 x 1 – Fits the Haenel CR300 and CR308, as well as many other rifles. Not compatible with the HK MR308 or HK firearms with delayed-blowback systems (G3, etc.).

• M15 x 1 HK – Specifically designed to cover the cylindrical section between the muzzle thread and the shoulder on the HK MR308. Do not use with Haenel rifles.
