A5 Assembly Buffer System - Buffer A5 H2
The A5 Buffer Assembly is an advanced buffer system designed to significantly reduce felt recoil, eliminate bolt bounce, and provide exceptional reliability and consistency throughout the AR-15 operating cycle.
This system is factory-installed in DTF Rifleworks HDR PRO and Trinity rifles.
Product code: RP-102
The A5 Buffer Assembly is an advanced buffer system designed to significantly reduce felt recoil, minimize bolt bounce, and provide a smooth and consistent operating cycle for AR-15 rifles. It is factory-installed in DTF Rifleworks HDR PRO and Trinity rifles.
In simple terms: the rifle runs smoother and more linearly, making it easier to control during rapid fire.
What It Does
Reduced felt recoil: Significantly softens recoil while maintaining reliable cycling and smooth operation.
Smoother operation: The combination of a rifle-length recoil spring and an appropriately weighted A5 H2 buffer provides a smoother and more consistent operating cycle.
Consistency and reliability: Helps maintain more consistent bolt velocity, contributing to repeatable cycling.
Reduced bolt bounce: The system helps minimize bolt bounce and promotes consistent lockup during cycling.
Complete Kit Includes
Extended buffer tube / receiver extension: Made from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and featuring 8 stock positions. It is approximately 3/4" longer than a standard carbine buffer tube.
Rifle-length recoil spring (M16A4): Features more coils than a standard M4 spring, providing a broader operating range and smoother bolt movement.
A5 H2 buffer: Longer than a standard AR-15 buffer and equipped with four internal weights instead of three. The H2 configuration uses two tungsten weights, with a total weight of approximately 5.6 oz.
Castle nut: Solid receiver extension locking nut manufactured to Mil-Spec standards.
QD end plate: Durable end plate with an integrated Quick Detach sling attachment point.
Installation Information
The system is compatible with standard Mil-Spec lower receivers. Due to the A5 tube being approximately 3/4" longer than a standard carbine receiver extension, some collapsible stocks may not sit directly against the castle nut when fully collapsed.
Installation requires appropriate tools and basic experience with AR-15 assembly. If you have any doubts after reviewing the installation instructions, consult a qualified gunsmith or the manufacturer.
